“Social mapping” is not (yet?) a killer application

Viktor Holdener observes in his diploma thesis “Open Map Sihlwald”, that visitors of the “Sihlwald” (20km south-west of Zurich, Switzerland) visitors are not very interested in “social mapping”. But he expects the interest to grow, as the technique spreads and becomes available on mobile phones equipped with GPS.
